Have a Nice Day

A Lovely Day 
Is here to stay 

Another date 
Fresh start, clean slate 

Choices we make 
Turns that we take 

Not always known 
Dealt on our own 

We plan, we hope
We brace and cope 

And often doubt  
How life plays out 

Have trust and faith 
In Day’s embrace 

And keep it cool 
Play by the rule 
(The glass - half full) 

We can’t foretell 
Our fortune’s spell

As timelines chime 
Day at a time 

I simply say 
Have a Nice Day!
