Have a Heart

As you bring forth joy
Do not use me as a toy
My heart is at risk

Carol, I see you don't have your older poems here any more. I will miss that because I enjoy going back and seeing poems of the poets whose recent ones I've already viewed. Why did you do it? Anyway, soupmail me sometime if you want! This is a nice little senryu. Luv, Andrea

This is just wonderful, bringing out the most precious thing each and everybody have which is LOVE, and for you to say these words do not use it at as a toy many still do.

Hi Carol, thanks for the warm welcome. I have been studying this type of poem, for I am very new to poetry. There are so many forms! Who knew? lol I like your poem and despise men who use women. The world doesn't need any more playboys. Many men are like this, and at times I am ashamed to be a member of the male gender. Great message Carol. I know a few (alot) of guys that should read this....but won't. Thanks again for your kind comments, see you soon :) -Rob
