Haunting Hallucination

For two days I stayed in a hill resort Opposite was a hill top, easy to conquer with little effort That was covered by a variety of tree Without greenery, leaving few gaps, as free Those gaps looked like white Being big rocks at considerable height This was the regular scene With which I became indigene Later left for home in a train Being window seat, my joy stay to remain The train begun journey with a slow start Seen a small hilltop nearby, as it depart Similarly green in full Leaving similar white spot cell Train made little more move Leaving me with a new scene to carve This green hill became fully visible As it really was not a hill, I was surprised to fable Though it looked so, from the previous place In fact it was a tall and large tree, with green face The white gaps were not rocks as I earlier thought But were gaps between branches of that tree, outright I laughed into myself, with pity As I realized the reality Had the train not moved, I would have hold it as hilltop As I detected from my train’s desktop It hails the haunting hallucination! That came silently into action!! Above poem is adapted from the eBook," BIRD OF PARADISE AND OTHER POEMS" by Mr.V.MUTHU MANICKAM who holds the copyright.
