Haunted Promise

With invisible stabs to my soul

With quiet whispers to my mind

You keep the night alive

You steal my sleep, you deride my dreams

You show yourself by invisible means

My home is not my own

My body fails through lack of sleep

My mind races to outwit your keep

I see the shadows form in the day

I feel the cold of you near in the night

The presence of your twisted mind

The fear you seek to override my conscious sanity

Do your worst you freak of past life

Kill me now if you own the night

I turn away, I close my eyes

My silent promise you hear tonight

For when I see my last daylight

When life decides to give up the fight

I will locate you in the afterlife

Where even we will stand in the darkest night

You won't escape my vengeance eyes

You won't escape my hatred

For when I eventually die

I will haunt your dead sick mind.
