Haunted By a Long Lost Love

I should have done the right thing
But my naivety cost me a lot ,
Now I’m haunted by your lost love and loss,
Your smile and face I can’t forget ,
If rivers and springs flow fall into oblivion ,
Your beauty and trait I can’t forget ,
Your sweet voice tinkled my heart
any time you speak ,
but dissuaded by wrong imagination…
Imagination of losing you to some one else ,
Which turned me into a jealous beast ,
Oh! ,I failed!!,I failed by treating you badly ,
Which made you move out of my life
into the forest of no return---Death.
Now haunted by a long lost love
I lie on my bed still reflecting.
Reflecting…
How life has been…
