Hatred and Jealousy
Hatred and jealousy, such poisonous friends,
They cling to your heart and never truly end.
They fester and boil, like a wound gone bad,
Consuming your soul, making you mad.
Jealousy whispers, “They have what you lack,”
And hatred agrees, “Attack, attack, attack.”
They make you bitter, consume your light,
And blind you to goodness, with all their might.
Jealousy cries, “Why them and not me?”
While hatred screams, “They deserve to see
The pain they cause, the harm they’ve done,
Let them feel what it’s like to be shunned.”
But their lies only lead to a solitary path,
Where darkness reigns and love cannot last.
For hatred and jealousy poison the soul,
And leave nothing but emptiness and a gaping hole.
So reject their words and embrace love instead,
Let kindness and compassion be your daily bread.
Hatred and jealousy can never truly win,
For love conquers all, if you let it begin.
