Hatred

Hate Burning inside me Seeping into every fiber of my being Taking hold of every speck of light I was ever foolish enough to see in you Gripping my soul until I am drowned by contempt The hate burning away the fog of light and goodness Surrounding you Until I finally see you for what you really are

@mourning mist No I am not ill or medicated I had been hurt very recently by a friend and I had to express it in a way that described how I felt after the intial shock Many poets write about dark things that many would not face otherwise. I do not feel that way about her now and I was recognizing the side of every human being that can hate. I felt hatred because I was hurt. I admit it is a strong word but do you not have anything better to do then put me down and question my mental stability?
