Hating You

Hating you is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do
Hating your smile, your eyes beaming into mine
Hating your kiss, your embrace
Yet hating you is worth everything you’ve put me through

Hating her for taking your lips from mine
Hating her perfect body, her gorgeous shape
Hating her for being perfect for you
Just make me hate you more

I’m worth more than this
I’m not second string
And you’ve made me nothing but second choice
Just the one you thought you had to settle for

So why am still in love with you?
