Hate Kills, Love Heals
The world today is full of hate.
Those who choose hate have sealed their fate.
The poison which their hearts infill
will drip by drip these haters kill.
Hate makes the heart an acid core,
like a volcano, ready to pour,
and spew its content in the air,
harming those foes who may be near.
Not only does the acid burn,
the enemies that haters spurn.
Their souls are destroyed in turn,
by the hate that in them churn.
The Anti-Social Media craze
makes it appear as if hate pays.
Hating has become the new fad,
of people who are sad and mad.
Jesus taught us to love our foes,
and loving, was the path He chose.
So, pour out the poison of hate,
and love your foes as you do a mate.
What a big difference it will make
If all, the path of love will take.
The world would become a safer place,
transformed by love’s true healing grace.
