Hate Can't Touch Me

You call me a monster/ Because you judge/ What you do not know/ Are you too lame to realize/ I am just like you/ I have feelings/ I have a heart/ I used to.be afraid of the dark/ Until I embraced that darkness/ I have my wounds that were inflicted by you/ But I am healing/ I am growing stronger/ I will not let your hate control me/ To cause me to be less than that/ Whatever that is/ I will arise from the depths you cast me in/ I will take back/ What you have taken from me/ I will heal despite what you say/ Because at the end of the day/ Hate is your own mental illness/ I chose to be the one/ Who is healing and not sick/ So, hate if you must/ Because I will be the one to love/
