Hat Trick

Written By: D. Collins 1/31/26

I predict a hockey hat trick is coming soon.
Where another poor soul will meet their doom.
There's a saying that death always comes in threes.
And the Grim Reaper doesn't like to be teased.

There'll be countless abductions before the hat trick.
Then the shock and awe of another government hit.
The hat trick chooses not to be ignored.
And has one foot firmly wedged in the door.

The last breaths of freedom is surely on the way.
It is right in front of us each and everyday.
A hat trick is coming. It is knocking at the door.
When will we decide we're not taking anymore?
