Hat Pledge

To myself, I pledge,
To wear my hat with pride, joy, and allegiance.
Even when there is no convenience, and mastering all levels of
Exceedance.
I pledge to be committed. Consistent, and act royal
To the end remain loyal.

When I’ve slayed all day
I retreat to rest
Knowing, I smiled in my hat and gave it my best.

Hi Barbara. My mother-law never made a pledge, but she would have loved this poem.
