Has Any One Seen Or Heard

Has any one seen a dying hope clinging
to the words of a church or a pope?

Has any one heard the hungry
blades of grass praying for the
next drop of rain?

Has any one seen the splendors of
the heart transform to tar oozing
malevolence?

Has any one seen a murder who later became
a lotto winner?

Has any one seen a anonymous lover
 gazing at your smile?

Has any one heard the plea of dying
Autumn leaves?

Has any one seen the eye of the clouds
gazing down on them?

Perhaps you never seen it all but my lord does.

Strong words, Elliot, and an excellent write! Yes, the Lord knows all. More than we will ever understand. Thanks for sharing. Rhonda :))
