Has and Has Not
There are them that has
and them that has not.
One of them in rags
the other one is not.
Those who have a lot
give thanks to God a lot.
Thankful for the grace
that blesses only me.
But leaving not a trace
on someone else you see.
This grace that seems to be
in everyone but me.
We can not stop the famine
starvation and poor health.
Although we try to realign
by spreading out the wealth.
Give a penny to them that lack,
then try to take two pennies back.
We do it with a smile,
upon our healthy face.
And hold our tongue a while
for laughter has its place.
But the Lord fills his palace
with souls from this chalice.
We tell the "ins", what we need
to take care of one another.
But, gripe a lot, if in his deed,
he gives it to our brother
A guarantee to bother
the one and not the other.
