Harvest Moon

Too heavy for sky,
Night cradles the harvest moon.
Soft, loitering, light
Silhouetting rooftops, spires
Jagged black against its glow

I like this Tanka. Perfect description of moonlight and the dark reflection it casts upon buildings etc.

Thank you ! I wanted to capture the image of the beautiful moon I saw the other night so I composed a tanka poem which is like a literary Polaroid !
