Harsh Mean Words

Harsh Mean Words Silver colors stream down her face Prism colors making a race What did he say to turn her face Harsh, mean words without grace Eyes of red that see only blur Lashes sticking and cause her to stir Wiping them with tissues and then a dab Harsh, mean words have made her sad Laughter no longer visits her cheeks Thoughts of happiness left over weeks To tired to fight, complain, or speak up Harsh, mean words made her shut up Pain throughout the body and the mind Steps are slower and so is time Desire to skip, take walks, or call a friend Harsh, mean words have put them to an end Silver colors stream down her face Eyes of red that see only blur Laughter no longer visits her cheeks Pain throughout the body and the mind Harsh, mean words have replaced life’s pace
