Harmony

by Mel Eyas Dicdican

Man is made to be in harmony
Even with people that are full of envy,
And much more with people of sincerity and humility.

In the world of mortality,
Everyone equips with different ability,
But in any way, each is given by the Almighty.

Above other creatures is the man of might
With which for sure he uses for a fight;
And to fight back is the option that is not right.

Those who died in a battle in any way,
Their souls need us to pray
That they could rest in peace and harmony.

Hate, grudge, deceit, and pride should be thrown away
That everyone would be in harmony,
Even though we have different ideology.

Harmony! Harmony! Harmony!
This is the virtuous calling for everybody.
And to be at peace is the only way.

I dedicate this poem to those who died in war and to their loved ones, and to those people of different ideology. Peace be with you!
