Harder To Resist

Feeling Isolated and dejected like an outcast,
From years of intimidation, humiliation and rotten past,
Broken by dejectedness; a defined rejection,
Life has become a hopeless situation.

All I see around me is fear and pain,
With my integrity and wishes painted with stain,
I wish to live and try,
But all I do this day is to cry.

I’m gradually kicking the bucket in sorrow,
What I feel is something beyond tomorrow,
I still feel I’m riding on the suicide lane,
Yet, I wonder whom to blame.

But if this hard knock and depression continues to exist,
Then submitting to eternal silence will become harder to resist.
