Hard Work Pays Off

Such little fingers type so slow I watch along as when he goes Reports for typing, research too He’ll get it done, that’s what he’ll do But, even if it takes all week He’ll find all answers he so seeks As 4th grade can be hard enough He won’t give up on schoolwork stuff He likes to know he finished well With a smile he reads, knowing he excelled

Very cute. I remember the intensity and excitement of wanting to get the answers right and having your work complete. This is a true poem of a good student this age, no matter what the grades.

I like this. The feeling of accomplishment is wonderful at any age and you have so perfectly penned those feelings here. This is lovely. Love, Robin

You should be proud, and be happy with yourself for passing on the work ethic that he obviously possesses! Donna
