Hard Work and Goodness, For Once

I finally feel like flowers
Look on and the day it rises
It grows and swirls, but gently
For the first time in a century.
I can notice the patterns within me--
The gardens and snowfall and caverns
I can speak and listen and be heard
At once a hippo and now a firebird
I’m a gallantly graceful gorgeous
I’m a singingly
A dancing endless
I finally feel like flowers
Recovery is priceless
