Hard Times

It’s hard to get over what’s never left, it’s hard to expect what you can’t reflect I guess life is what you would never guess, and there’s always that one thing that puts the others to rest It’s hard to go when everything else is saying stop, it’s hard to forget what the heart really wants And even though I’ve moved on I can still see you in the rear view, it’s hard not knowing what you want to know It’s always hard accepting all that the truth really holds, and even though it’s so hard there’s always some good that makes it easy There’s always that light at the end of the tunnel, but it’s hard to get to the light when its fading away Its hard crying over the same thing every night, it’s like trying to win the war and you know you can’t fight You put your mark on my heart and then ripped it out, so it’s hard to get rid of what’s permanently there P.S. it’s hard to obtain what you can’t see like air…
