Hard Place and the Stone

HARD PLACE AND THE STONE
Putting aside, out of my mind,
all things I've heard of you,
my mind still says danger ahead,
where I am going to.

but from my heart all caution's thrown
with very little care,
the winds are blowing on your way
and I am going there.

Oh! Yes I've heard those things of you,
but you must realize,
I've known the look of you before
inviting from your eyes,

so we will make a go of it,
the hard place and the stone;
and you have met your match in love,
'tis ours, and ours alone.
