Hard Look In the Mirror
Staring into the mirror
Don't like what I see
Don't recognize the man staring back at me
I have changed
Not who I used to be
People don't recognize who they see
Life took a new direction
Went down a path I NEEDED to go
Don't need the people I used to know
The path suddenly stopped
Came to an impassable wall
Wouldn't be able to finish the path after all
Priorities have changed
Can no longer go along with the importance of things
I have tasted the importance true happiness brings
Stuck in between
A life I used to know
And a place my heart tells me I need to go
How can I stay
When my eyes have been opened wide
Each day here I die a bit inside
My departure
Would cause so my pain and strife
Bring an end to my former life
How do you decide
To hurt those that love you
How do I say this I can no longer do
Pitiful problems
Of a pitiful man
That reflection in the mirror, I can no longer stand
