Harboring Censorship

Some sinister forces
would try to gain control
of what is deemed permissible.
Theirs is the moral high ground,
they maintain.
All disagreement is dismissible.

They’d train,
with discipline that’s drilled by rote,
young minds to dumbed-down
dogmatic belief,
denying what might provide antidote --
the skeptical questions that bring relief.

They’d take the dictionaries from our schools,
replace our science instruction with creed
and guarantee a future rife with fools --
a pious and uneducated breed.

Thank goodness
these disgruntled lack the wit
to cancel what the moving hand hath writ.

The censorship referred to in this poem has nothing to do with pornography, Mourning Mist. It refers to dictionaries and science texts that contain material deemed offensive by the small minded, who often defensively project their own neuroses onto others.

the ones complaining on censorship of pornography are the ones reading it or posting it..I can guarantee it..bottom line is..if you post it to lure you are remaining..that is all their is to it..choose to accept that reality or reject it..is your personal option..

if you are not christian then dogma does not matter..but if you are christian then it does..laws and rules apply..Gods rules of censorship of what is proper conduct...it does not mean we are not passionate and seductive with our spouses alone and not on the internet..I will be doing a posting called prude vs privacy
