Happy Valentines Day
If I wrote you a card filled with love
Sent you a rose as bright as Rudolph nose
Brought you a ring to propose
Would you believe I loved you.
If I took you to a fancy restaurant
Brought you the finest dinner
Walked with you along the shore
Took a carriage to your door
Would you believe I loved.
If I brought you home to my mother
Introduced you as my partner
Sat with you under the stars
Professing my Love
Would you believe I loved you.
If I wrote you anonymous love letter
Signed it from a secret admirer
Sent you a dozen balloons
With a bottle of champagne
Would you believe I loved you.
Then my sweet Valentine
Tell me Why is it that today of all days
Is the only day you believe, 'I love you'.
