Happy To Die Without Love

The architechture of love has tore down my design

She has destroyed the building of my emotions

and the color of the my heart is blackened with time

The emptiness over powers my will to live and breathe

and the hollow vessels that lead to my broken heart are as calm as a frozen sea

The blood that flows through my viens are as cold as liquid ice,

giving the reigns to the reaper i'd gladly pay the price

Powerful verse comes from the heart and your pain is hurting. Healing to come from within over time. Blessings!

I enjoyed this read. I think many have visited the place you were when you wrote this. It's a beautiful expression. ~Beloved Faizah

Whoahhh. This lady played a bad number on you...I like the architectural terminology...the writer seems so empty and with nothing left to give at the end...calm as the broken sea....cold as liquid ice..well scribed, sir. just a tid bit--overpowers may need to be one word. Thank you soo much for sharing the overwhelming thots of one's broken heart...I can completely touch the spirit of this poem-many can! Gwendolen
