Happy People

Life drips and drops away
We live in puddles
Just ripples of rain.

We can’t complain
We can’t complain

You smile at me
Like you really mean it
And I find I love you again

We can’t complain
We can’t complain

I like your eyes
They burn with gold
I want to pour out all of your pain

We can’t complain
We can’t complain

I feel your skin with my lips
Cool and smooth, so good to touch
I want to remove your soul’s chain

We can’t complain
We can’t complain

You hear my heart
Pumping strength of love
Into my vein

We can’t complain
We can’t complain

If one thing is certain
It’s that we can’t complain.
