Happy News

I had a dream way back in February of this year, regarding my first grandchild- a boy, now twenty-nine and married. My dream recalled a memory from long ago, when I first met him- held him in my arms, after flying cross-country, East to West, in such joyous anticipation. I soon wrote a poem on that vivid dream- of that treasured memory, and I emailed it to him. The following day, he answered with a call to elatedly share splendid news! "Dear Gram, you'll have that gift again- we are so pleased to tell you- a great-grandma in August you will be!" my first great-grandchild overjoyed to meet her soon- child of my child's child June 12, 2019 Contest: Hey, Write A Happy Haibun Sponsor: Caren Krutsinger
