Happy New Year
There comes a time when we have to say farewell.
We've traveled these roads nd memories all with a story to tell.
Friends and places we've seen and sadly lost along the way.
Sometimes the words we felt we're just too painful to say.
And so as we face these final hours of this current year,
With others ready to sing and ring in the new year
I close the chapter of another year once more,
And wish hope, peace and happiness for 2024
