Happy New Year 12-31-14

Happy New Year!
Drink some beer!
Restore the cheer,
And have not fear.

Credit card bills
Are piling up
And to think
You bought a pup!

The Christmas toys
That brought them joys
Will be broken by
Next month.

The balance due
Is still new
On credit statements
Addressed to you.

Work extra hours
To pay power,
Water, and rent
But that won't
Even put a dent.

Now you will have
To sacrifice
Family time
To make a dime.

To pay off debt
You don't have yet.
But if you get
Sick, demands won't be met.

AFLAC's only for
The rich, not poor
So take my advice
Don't roll the dice.

Don't take a chance
On one time romance
It only brings
Heartbreak, not rings.
