Happy May Day

Happy May Day, the 1st of May I remember in childhood, when we would play We would make handmade baskets and fill them with flowers Then leave them on doorsteps, ring the bell and run! Knowing our neighbors would be surprised With an unexpected gift on their steps, Happy May Day! HAVE FUN! Heidi Sands 5/1/22

May Day is Lei Day in Hawai'i, where people exchange necklaces of flowers, usually plumeria (aka frangipani). Enjoyed, Heidi! Aloha!
