Happy First Anniversary
For years we’ve each lived in such a way
To now appreciate and adore
Each other’s company every day
With heartfelt feelings we can’t ignore
Lives intertwining without delay
Sure to share our love forever more
This past year’s been grand if I may say
Our talks have stirred me fast to my core
Your touch electrifies in a way
Great assurance that you will never bore
The ring I gave you pledges today
My love for you and many years more
