Happy Father's Day, Dads
I just want to tell all the fathers out there
Thank you
Thank you for having your seeds
Thank you for carrying it to the next generation
Thank you for sticking around
Thank you for learning to be mom
when it is not yours to learn
Thank you for giving up certain rights and responsibilities
Like giving up your Friday nights with your pals to take care of your son
Like going to church when you don't feel like it
because you feel like you need to carry on
- A tradition, values - that you teach your sons and daughters
- A role model for someone who looks up at you
- A forever and ever keeper of peace
The house would not be the same without you
The empty nester would be forever cold without someone to stir it
Yes
God made you like that
The owner of the household - in charge
And in peace
Rise up and claim your place
Chief, captain, top dog
Patriarch
You are in charge
Don't ever forget that
Now go
Hug your family
as they need you
Pull your family
as you are one unit
Don't ever let anything blind you
break you, undermine you
Yeah you are it
And it knows you
See :)
