Happy Fall

Happy Fall

Happy Fall to one and all
It's not the best that I recall
Hurricanes are wide and tall
Corona virus at the mall

They interfere with happiness
Wish they were o'er, I must confess
Time will pass and end this mess
When and how, we all may guess

Election time is drawing nigh
Choices make me moan and sigh
There's not a one that doesn't lie
Founders roll in graves and cry

Address the issues that are there
And the crosses that we bear
Change the hate that's in the air
Go cast your vote if you still care

Enough of this frivolity
The Autumn leaves are on the tree
The earth still turns for all to see
Choices there for you and me

So happy Fall to all of you
And your friends and family too
Find love and joy in all you do
Respect the past, help build the new
