Notes About The Poem

Another new Season of your life; enjoy it.

Happy Fall

Happy Fall
By Franklin Price

Happy Fall to all of y'all
A Carolina everyone
The leaves are changing on the trees
In a month they will be done

Enjoy the chill that's in the air
Now in the early day
Walk a while to stretch your legs
Will hold your age at bay

The hummingbirds are flitting
Squirrels collecting winter nuts
Get up, get dressed and wander out
Get off your idle butts
