Happy Demopublic Day
Demopublic Day is May 22nd.
Democrats and the Republicans will
Put down their angry words and listen to each other
Have picnics together
Eating hotdogs
Watching their children share s’mores
Brand spanking holiday
So effective we may have to have it twice a year
May 22nd and November 22nd
Too close to Thanksgivings?
Let’s get rid of Thanksgivings.
We will meet up in Las Vegas Nevada
At high noon.
All of the slot machines will be free on these days only.
We will shout “UNITED” and we will be united for that day.
Some will roll their eyes, but others will believe.
And the believers can make all of the 22nds of all the months
Demopublic days.
Then they can make all the Tuesdays Demopublic days.
Of course the liberals will be there too, and they will unite everybody.
A United States. Can you imagine what joy that might bring?
