Happy Christmas
Deep inside the blanket so warm
cozying with teddy in my arms
I counted the stars at night
One, two, three to ten,
the stars were more than ten
Counted them again and again
The moon came in between
pushed it away.
My teddy took it to play
Rocket from somewhere
kept me pushing
Wake wake up- its my mommy!
with a brush in hand
I dont want to open my eyes
Its so chill, cuddled my teddy
inside my wool
Mama kisses me and says
"Happy Christmas" today
I jump from my bed
"No School today"
Santa is in town
My friends are out to play
My teddy sleeps in my place
Happily counting the stars
as I await the sunny day.
