Happy Birthday In Heaven
Happy Birthday my Dearest Son.
I hope your day will be Awesome!
I know you're sitting up there sharing all
your favorite foods.
Setting up your buffet, with wings, pizza, salsa,
chips galore, your red hot sauce and German cake.
I am a bit sad you're there and I am not.
You are happy celebrating and going on without me.
I know your having the time of your life, while
I'm trying to make the best of your birthday here.
I can't seem to move on without you.
Happy Birthday Son.
This is how it's gonna be here on Earth for me.
Each day to get up and remember to breathe and
try to find a 'New Normal' I must go on.
So this April day I will end it with movies of you
when you were little.
and me ending the day,saying I Love You and I
miss you so.
So goodnight my son I bought you a card, make you
German chocolate cake.
I missed your hugs today, so thank - you for letting me
share your special day.
My heart is breaking, my mind still trying to understand
why you had to go and leave me behind.
It is 11:59p.m here and soon your birthday will be over,
But I still wish you could have been here in person.
