Happy 50th Birthday To My Wife
You've lived half a century, girl,
would you believe it?
No doubt life seems like a whirl
or do you feel you're in deep sh**?
Fifty summers, fifty winters,
over half spent with Lenny--
just proves there's no free dinners
cause livin' with me is not all glee!
You have awakened to fifty springs,
seen fifty times the leaves fall--
cared little for baskets of gold rings
or a big house with a grand hall,
because long ago you caught my heart
though some say that wasn't too smart....
