Happiness, Wants, Opportunity

Aphorisms, rather than EPIGRAMS (Choices are many in "forms of Poetry") 1. Happiness is not wanting to get what you dream of; Happiness is wanting what you already HAVE now. 2. LISTEN. Always work on listening skills, for OPPORTUNITY often knocks very softly. (DEO). shalom, shalom. ShalOM (Ask me about why Jesus is so real to me, about SHALOM).

Three faithful comment(er)s. Rreminds me of my Love affair with The Holy Trinity. Yes, Yesy, Yes. Shalom, is so rich ... also connected with Jerusalem (or SALEM ... etymologically PEACE). But when Jews greet "shalom, shalom," it's out of this world. Study reveals, 1 X to dispel the Devil, or rebuke him, and second SHALOM: is the BLESSING. Not just peace, but "WHOLEness, which is a trinity of peace, healing, and well-being. That's what my dear Sister Jen is talking about. Hallelujah; thanX

Hi my faithful friend - it is when we lose our routine and are placed in a position that we would perhaps could lose everything that we can praise the Lord and thank him for what we have,I certainly would not want more than I have right now, happiness and love and devotion to a wonderful family, whom I am so lucky to have, Blessings Shalom Anil, new penpal!

"Happiness is wanting what you already Have now." This is so true. For me this means acceptance with gratitude (peace). "shalom" means peace. It is from the Hebrew word "salom." In Arabic the word "salam" means peace. I lived in the Philippines for a time and the word "Salamat" means thank you and is probably etymologically rooted in "salam."

Tell me about Shalom? Yes I agree, happiness is imbedded within embracing what comes. I too believe it is a choice.
