Happiness Struggles

I'm a slave
Captive in my relationship,
Held down by taxes
and unjust laws that dont quit
Chained down by the life
that I've been accustomed to

I can not break free.

Family and friends just add more locks
I want to fly free, but I'm stuck with the flock
In a world where currency is the measure of a man
I lie in a cage
Unable to stand

Where is the key to let me go?
No one knows.
No one knows.

But I'll find happiness
as a slave
Make some money
to buy a cave
Claim my woman as
eternally mine
Pay the taxes
Pay the fines
Because this cage I know
Is all I know
This cage is called life
I'll give it a go.
