Happiness of Summer

Our wonderful season of summer time
pleasures, memories record in our mind
wondrous things we feel, we see, so sublime 
summer a season to relax, unwind,

warmth upon our backs, those beautiful sounds
aromatic smells wafting on cool breeze
church bells that melodically resounds
graceful butterflies, joyous busy bees,

summer months when we receive our reward
from our winter toil, reaping our harvest 
we sing our praises give thanks to our lord
time to reflect, to assess, time to rest,

summers are for loving, to be adored
for what summer brings happiness restored.
