Happiness Is Like a Butterfly, Henry David Thoreau
Happiness is like a butterfly; the more you chase it,
the more it will elude you, but if you turn your
attention to other things, it will come and sit
softly on your shoulder." Henry David Thoreau, ***
Happiness, is where ever you happen to find it.
And to be truthful it is not as elusive as a butterfly,
in all instances. It is because happiness is more
an internal rather than a external state of mind.***
Happiness, is honestly finding the hidden light, you
have within your very soul. It is more precious than
all the stars' twinkling diamonds in the evening sky.
It is more valuable than either silver or gold. Happiness
does not lie within how much earthly goods you can
accumulate. ***
"Happiness, is different things to different people
that's what happiness is." Popular quotation. ***
Some search all of their entire lives trying to find
true happiness, but they only miss the mark.
Earthly happiness is not only short termed,
but it is also temporary. "It is here one day
and gone the next."***
"Heavenly sunshine, heavenly sunshine, filling my
soul with glory divine, Heavenly sunshine, heavenly
sunshine. Hallelujah! Jesus is mine."***
"People are chasing after money and dreams that don't
come true." Money runs through your hands like grains
of sand in a hour glass. You can not buy the stairway
to heaven, because it is not for sale. You can not buy
either happiness nor contentment for money either!***
"I'm climbing the stairway to happiness, with a new step
every day." The singer and dancer equated happiness with
new relationships with beautiful members of the feminine
gender. He associated it with the glamour and excitement
of the entertainment industry. Along with all of its peaks
and privileges it provided.***
How can you find true happiness? Only through a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
But first to achieve lasting happiness, He must first
redeem your lost souls. Happiness and contentment
are only possible through Him!***
Trials and tribulations will come! He will not necessarily
keep you from them, but he promises to faithfully see
you through them. He will not allow you to be tempted
above what you are able to endure! He will never leave
you nor forsake you. Lo! He is with you always even unto
the end of the age! Praise be the Lord! Hallelujah! A-men!
Love in Christ Jesus!
