Money,fame, love, power, a beautiful physique
Or are these goals a delusion the conclusion
The mystique of happiness for each is unique

Shirley: I'm not sure a lot of folks today would look up from their "screens" long enough to identify "happiness" if it were all around them. Thanks for sharing so clearly, happiness is as unique as the people it reaches. Thanks for sharing with all of us on the soup. oldbuck

Thanks for your comments, Shirley. Indeed, it is amazing. Your 'Happiness' poem is thought provoking and true. We look for happiness in all the wrong places. It's inside of us through Christ; not on the outside through people, things, and stuff.

yes, everyone pursues different visions of happiness. I think all seek love but it's too bad they don't all learn the lesson of what makes it the most important of all things sought.

It seems Shirley, the whole world from one's birth is geared to the illusion you state in your wonderful poem. Sadly generations now know nothing of what has past, happiness doesn't need manufacturing..
