Happiness

I search for happiness deep
And wide , far and yonder.
When I thought I have found it,
It eludes me like a desert mirage.

The more I gain proximity,
The further it leaps.
I seek happiness for its sake
And it took flight.

little be-known to me.
Least suspected by me,
That happiness is deep,within my
Very core.I turn inwards.

And behold happiness beckoned.Happiness
Nudged me to seek a goal-that I did.
And behold happiness enshroud me,
Bursting forth, caressing,
And brightening my whole being
