Happily Ever Disaster

I looked up and there you were
My prince
My fairytale
My happily ever after

You stood by my side
You made me strong
You made me believe in you
I trusted you

I looked up and there you were
My enemy
My deepist fear
My worst nightmare

You brought me down
You broke me apart
You made me give up my hope
I loved you

I looked up and there you were
My living hell
My darkest night
My happily ever disaster

I'm saying fairwell

When the man of your dreams turns into your "worst nightmare," saying farewell is the best thing to do, Emily. I'm sorry he brought so much pain into your life. I'm also sorry I haven't responded sooner to your comments, but I'm enjoying a vacation. Love, Carolyn

A dark poem with a postive ending. Some people never have the courage to say farewell and let their problems overcome them. Well done.

The tide changed and you left on the boat going out to sea so I see. ..Sara
