Happily Ever After
Hoping one day that I might find
A man who touches my heart as well as my mind.
Perhaps he's out there looking for me.
Perhaps we'll never meet, I'll just wait and see.
I still believe in happily ever after.
Love that lasts through bad times and laughter.
You always assume that there's someone out there.
Everyone needs someone to love, to care.
Very often I've wondered if I'll find real love,
Enduring and passionate, sent from above.
Real and forever is what I wait for.
A man who's my partner, nothing less, nothing more.
From time to time I wonder if he
Thinks about finding someone like me.
Easily in the past love slipped through my fingers.
Real love won't do that, real love lingers.
