Happily Adrift

*                                    I
                                   see
                                waves
                              rolling in
                           interrupting
                         the horizon line
                      the winds picking up
                    my sails with sky combine
like a comet in the vastness
of space I am a speck in the sea
drifting endlessly, as humble as I
could ever imagine to be, to know
I may disappear in a moment is as
freeing as it is chilling, fleeing land
with water spilling onto my feet. will
                                              it
                                              be
my last voyage or the first of many a quest. seeing
mother nature at her best. An overwhelming of
serenity. Here I am anyone, without a need
for identity, as my foundation shifts
swiftly, I sail away. Happily adrift
