Hanging On Heartache
Hanging on to heartache
fearing to let it go,
did you feel the pain
of that final goodbye,
was it what you thought
the fear of never loving anymore,
and there it is fading slow
forgotten in the passing of time,
so, at last, I can say
goodbye.
