Hanging In There

Unseen
Uncared for
Left crying on the floor
All but wanting more

Dismissed
Don't care
Death called out
Holding in its hand

Walking alongside the dim
Numbing to the blade
Thinking it as if it were yesterday
But it's always today

Back burner broke
Resorting to outlets
Didn't think twice to repair
Or to mend

It's fine
You'll see
When she's hanging
Outside the corktree.

Hanging in there or out there… makes all the difference! Hang in there!
